Fuji music star Sulaimon Alao, popularly known as Malaika, has pledged to perform free of charge at the wedding of content creator Peller and his fiancée, Jarvis, after receiving a personal request from the groom.
The promise was made in a viral video circulating on social media, where Peller, through influencer Tunde Perry, appealed to the Fuji singer to grace the wedding ceremony scheduled for Saturday, August 1.
In the video, Peller explained that although hip-hop artistes had already been booked for the event, he wanted a Fuji performance because of his mother’s admiration for Malaika.

Tunde Perry, who initially expressed doubts about whether the singer would be available, later accompanied Peller to Malaika’s office to make the request in person.
Responding, the Fuji musician agreed to honour the invitation despite his busy schedule.
Malaika, who described Peller as “like a son,” also disclosed that he would not charge any fee for the performance.
Overwhelmed by the gesture, Peller prostrated before the veteran singer in appreciation before embracing Perry.
The wedding is expected to feature performances by both Fuji and hip-hop artistes.
