
Grammy-nominated producer Tay Keith, born Brytavious Chambers, has died at the age of 29.
The hitmaker, known for producing songs for Drake, Travis Scott, Future, Beyoncé, and several other top artists, was found dead in his Nashville apartment on Thursday during a welfare check conducted by police.
In a statement, the Metro Nashville Police Department said no foul play is suspected in the incident. Authorities disclosed that Keith was discovered in his Martin Street apartment, while the cause of death remains unknown pending the outcome of an autopsy.
Tay Keith rose to prominence in 2018 after producing Drake and BlocBoy JB’s hit single “Look Alive.” He later co-produced Travis Scott’s chart-topping track “Sicko Mode,” which earned a Grammy nomination.
Over the years, he worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry, building a reputation as one of hip-hop’s most influential producers.
