A young Nigerian mother, Nneomah Abraham, has announced the end of her marriage two years after sharing the news of her wedding with her followers on social media.
Nneomah made the announcement in a Facebook post, revealing that her marriage officially ended on August 2.
Lady announces end of marriage
The young mother recalled how she had previously taken to social media to announce her marriage when she got married in 2024.
She explained that she was returning to the same platform to share another major update about her life.
She said:
“When I got married, I came online here to announce that I am finally taking. And I am here again to tell you all that the marriage ended on 2nd August.”
“Marriage is not a do or die affair”
Nneomah urged people to understand that ending a marriage does not mean failure, stating that marriage is not something anyone should remain in at all costs.
She wrote:
“Marriage is not a do or die affair.”
The young mother also clarified that the separation was not as a result of physical abuse.
She added:
“Please, there was nothing like physical violence.”
