A fresh wave of reactions has followed content creator Mazi Okeke’s emotional revelation alleging that his fiancée cheated on him with his driver, with fellow content creator Lenzi publicly responding to the controversy in a viral video.
In the video, Lenzi claimed he had warned Mazi Okeke about the relationship from the beginning, alleging that the woman at the centre of the controversy had a past that Mazi believed he could change despite repeated advice.
Lenzi claims he warned Mazi Okeke about relationship
Reacting to the allegations, Lenzi questioned Mazi Okeke’s expectations, saying:
“Mazi Okeke or whatever it is. I’m trying to understand what you are expecting from a hookup girl, Mazi. I’m still trying to understand what you are expecting from a hookup girl.”
He went on to explain that he and Mazi Okeke had once shared a close relationship before things changed.
“See, everybody that knows me and Mazi know how we started, know how we came about the whole Mazi Okeke character and everything. But all of a sudden, we stopped being close like we used to be. It’s all because of this particular girl that he’s complaining about.”
Lenzi further alleged that Mazi met the woman in 2021 while visiting him for a video shoot.
“Around 2021 or so, Mazi met this girl when he came to shoot for me. We had a shoot somewhere around, I think it should be around Thomas Estate. We were shooting and Mazi met this girl.”
According to him, Mazi later discussed the woman with him and insisted he could change her despite her past.
“And one day, Mazi came up to me and said, ‘This girl won’t be that kind of girl where you go and do that thing.’ But he refused. He said, ‘I will change this girl.’
“He said, I should not worry about her past. That anything that she has done in the past is now bygone. That he will change her.”
Says friendship ended because of the woman
Lenzi claimed their friendship suffered because of the relationship, alleging that Mazi eventually stopped welcoming him to his home.
“My brother, look at your condition now. Just look at your condition. Do you know it got to an extent that, because I used to go to Mazi’s house, I used to go and visit him.
“But all of a sudden, Mazi gave an order that I should stop coming to his house. He started giving me attitude. It was all because of this particular girl.”
He concluded his remarks by saying he had warned Mazi about the relationship and claimed the consequences were only beginning.
“My brother, you never see anything. See, the wages of sin is everlasting pain. And your pain just started, bro.
“You never see anything Mazi. Because I warned you about this girl, but you refused and started to do what is in your mind. My brother, the wages of sin is everlasting pain.
“And your pain just started. I’m enjoying the show. To God, enjoy it. You never even see anything.”
