A Nigerian man has sparked reactions on social media after recounting an experience with a woman he described as “entitled,” claiming she blocked him after he refused to lend her the full ₦300,000 she requested.
Sharing his story, the man said the woman initially sent him a direct message asking for ₦55,000 to buy a ring light. According to him, he gave her the money without hesitation.
However, months later, she allegedly returned asking to borrow ₦300,000, claiming she had spent her mother’s money. He said he offered to lend her ₦100,000 instead, but she rejected the offer and insisted on receiving the full amount.
“The level of entitlement among some Nigerian women is crazy.
“I was going through my DMs when I saw a message from a lady who said she needed ₦55,000 to buy a ring light, so I gave it to her.
“Months later, she came back asking me to lend her ₦300,000, claiming she had spent her mother’s money. I offered her ₦100,000 instead, but she refused, insisting I must give her the full ₦300,000. When I declined, she blocked me.”
His post has since sparked mixed reactions online, with many debating whether the woman’s actions reflected entitlement or whether the incident was simply an isolated personal experience.
