VeryDarkMan has revealed that Access Bank refunded N3 million to a customer’s account following his intervention over the alleged unauthorised debit.
In a post shared on Instagram, the activist questioned what would have happened to the woman’s money if she had not raised the alarm.
He said, “ACCESS BANK HAVE REFUNDED THE 3 million naira to the customer’s account,this country,so if the woman no cry out her money don go Abi 💀”
VeryDarkMan went on to make broader allegations about banking practices in Nigeria, claiming that some bank employees allegedly take advantage of inactive accounts with substantial balances.
He mentioned Access Bank, GTBank, Zenith Bank and First Bank, among others, while alleging that some corrupt staff may debit inactive accounts after assuming that the account holder could have died.
He also claimed that such practices could contribute to situations where next of kin struggle to recover funds belonging to deceased relatives.
The development has since attracted reactions online, with some Nigerians praising VeryDarkMan for intervening in the matter.
