“I’m Already Tired”- BBNaija’s Flora Opens Up About Celebrity Pressure

Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Flora has opened up about the pressure that comes with celebrity life, urging fans not to judge her based on her appearance or financial situation when they see her in public.

During a live session, the reality TV star explained that she does not live a luxurious lifestyle and would not want people to assume she is struggling simply because she is spotted wearing ordinary clothes.

Flora made it clear that she is not yet living the kind of glamorous life some people expect from celebrities. She also appealed to Nigerians not to take pictures of her in public and use them to mock her.

“I dey warn una now, I no follow una do celebrity life oo. So I won’t be walking one day on the road with my black trouser, and you people will take picture of me that this girl is suffering. I beg you all in the name of God.

I don’t have a car or house. I no follow una dey live big girl life. Even the photoshoots, I’m already tired. I no wan hear say this girl been dey do big girl for the house. Na so I dey for real life oo. You all should wait for me to get to that level first,” she said.

The BBNaija star questioned why people would automatically expect her to start living an extravagant lifestyle simply because she participated in the reality TV show.

According to Flora, she is still adjusting to life in the entertainment industry and finds the expectations placed on celebrities overwhelming. She also noted that even the photoshoots associated with maintaining a public image have become exhausting for her.

Expressing her concerns further, she said Nigerians should not be surprised to see her going about her daily activities like any other person, despite her newfound recognition.

“Before I go dey waka for road, and they go come snap me say this girl go Big Brother, and so? Celebrity life no easy. No be me sing am. Who don dey since, he talk am say e no easy. I just dey enter the celebrity life, and I don tire,” she added.

Flora’s comments have drawn attention to the pressure reality TV personalities face after leaving the show, particularly the expectation to maintain a glamorous lifestyle even when they are still working towards financial stability and greater success.
