Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has opened up about the emotional pain she is experiencing following the end of her marriage, sharing a heartbreaking video that has stirred reactions from fans online.
In the Instagram clip posted on July 14, the actress appeared visibly distressed as she admitted she could no longer keep up a brave front. The emotional post came shortly after she disclosed that several men had started reaching out to her through direct messages following the news of her separation.
Uche had previously appealed to the public to give her time to heal, stressing that she was not interested in starting another relationship anytime soon.
The actress recently confirmed that she and her younger husband, Bobby Maris, had gone their separate ways, bringing an end to a relationship she said lasted eight years. Reflecting on the breakup, she questioned whether things would ever have worked out unless she had sacrificed herself completely.
She also took a swipe at her estranged husband, claiming he turned out to be the “Princess” in the relationship instead of the strong partner she had hoped for.
Signs of trouble had surfaced earlier when the pair unfollowed each other on social media. Bobby later shared a cryptic post suggesting that not every woman deserves the title of a wife, while Uche appeared to respond with a message about surviving a narcissist.
Following the official announcement of their separation, the actress posted a striking photo of herself, declaring that she would proudly wear her “main chick crown” from now on.
The situation escalated further when Uche’s sister publicly defended her, accusing Bobby of failing to provide meaningful support for his family. She argued that Uche’s only mistake was choosing to leave the marriage and told Bobby to move on to his “next client.”
