Lagos has once again cemented its place as a powerhouse of musical innovation, as an 85-member orchestra delivered a historic performance that has officially been recognised by Guinness World Records as the largest orchestra ever assembled for an Afrobeats concert.
The groundbreaking event, tagged “Trench Symphony: The Dapper Live Experience,” brought together a fusion of talents across genres, blending the vibrant pulse of Afrobeats with orchestral arrangements and indigenous sounds. The performance has now etched Nigeria’s name into the global record books in spectacular fashion.
Adding a unique cultural depth to the record-breaking showcase were legendary Fuji musicians, King Saheed Osupa and KS1 Malaika, whose electrifying presence introduced a rich Fuji dimension to the orchestral experience.
