A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to raise concerns over the safety of motorists in Lekki, Lagos, after she claimed that her car was damaged by suspected thieves.
The lady, whose identity was not immediately disclosed, shared her experience online while expressing frustration over what she described as the worsening security situation in the area.
According to her, the incident has left her worried about the safety of residents and motorists who move around Lekki.
Sharing a picture of the damage to her vehicle, she wrote: “Lekki is not safe anymore. See what they did to my car. Why is Lagos state government not doing anything about these thvgs?”
Her complaint has sparked reactions online, with some social media users sharing similar concerns about security and alleged incidents of theft and vandalism in parts of Lagos.
The incident has also renewed calls for improved security measures to protect residents, motorists and their properties.
