Nigerian singer Shoday has shared his perspective on the long-running debate surrounding football icons Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The singer highlighted what he believes is the major difference between the two superstars, suggesting that while Messi appeared naturally gifted from the beginning, Ronaldo built his greatness through determination, discipline and hard work.
According to Shoday, Messi is someone who was naturally destined for stardom, while Ronaldo represents the kind of person who had to put in significant effort to reach the highest level.
“Messi is a born superstar, Ronaldo is somebody that worked to be a superstar. In life you have to ask yourself that who am I? Am I supposed to work to get it or I have it naturally?” Shoday said.
His comment also went beyond football, as he used the comparison to encourage people to understand their individual strengths and identify whether their path to success lies in natural talent or consistent hard work.
