Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has expressed gratitude to God after a 19-year-old mother, who reportedly considered selling her newborn baby, received help through her platform.
The actress had earlier shared a video of her visit to the young mother, who was said to have considered giving her baby to an unknown person. According to reports, Martins tried to speak with the woman about her situation, but she did not open up. The actress eventually left after giving her some money.
Following the incident, Sarah appealed to young people to be more responsible about their sexual choices. She advised those who are not financially prepared to raise a child to abstain from sex or use condoms to prevent unwanted pregnancies.
Providing an update on the situation, the actress revealed that the young mother had found a helper through her social media platform.
Expressing her happiness over the development, Martins described the intervention as a blessing from God. She also promised to keep her followers informed about the mother’s journey.
