A wave of reactions has trailed an incident reported in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, where a police officer attached to the Abali Park Division in Mile 1 allegedly arrested a member of the Ratels team during a voter awareness and PVC sensitization exercise.
According to reports, the individual had joined a public campaign aimed at encouraging citizens to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and actively participate in the democratic process when he was reportedly taken into custody by police operatives.
