At least three people have died in a horror bus crash in Turkey. The crash occurred in the Bandırma district on the Bandırma-Çanakkale road, near Külefli neighbourhood, as the bus was travelling from Tekirdağ to Muğla.
The bus hit the barrier after the driver lost control. Authorities confirmed that three people died at the scene, but the cause of the accident is not yet known.
Police, firefighters, and paramedics were in attendance to help injured passengers trapped in the bus.
Several passengers were taken to hospital. Initial reports said at least 22 people were injured, but Turkish media TRT said at least 31 people were injured, but are not in life-threatening condition.
The was closed and police launched an investigation. The bodies of the three people who were killed in the collision have been taken to the morgue in Bandirma Training and Research Hospital.
