Babadunni, the personal assistant to late gospel singer ToluwaniSings, has recounted the desperate efforts made to get medical attention for the singer after he slumped.
Speaking about the incident, Babadunni disclosed that they took ToluwaniSings to several hospitals in Ibadan in search of medical assistance, but some facilities reportedly turned them away because doctors were on strike.
According to him, they visited approximately 10 hospitals while trying to secure treatment for the singer.
“When Toluwani slumped, we took him to several hospitals in Ibadan. Some rejected him because doctors were on strike. We went to about 10 hospitals,” Babadunni explained.
His account has drawn attention to the difficulties they encountered while seeking urgent medical care for the gospel singer.
The revelation has also sparked conversations about access to emergency medical services, particularly when patients require immediate attention and healthcare facilities are affected by industrial action.
ToluwaniSings’ passing has left many of his admirers and members of the gospel music community mourning his loss.
