Residents of Gummi town in Zamfara State trooped out on thursday, in large numbers to applaud the gallant troops of Sector 2 Operation FANSAN YAMMA as the troops return to base after successful decimation of bandits at Dutsen Gidan Hill, 17 Km outside Gumi Town in Gummi LGA.
Demonstrating exceptional tactical superiority, the troops recently neutralized scores of terrorists and recovered dozens of motorcycles previously used to terrorize local communities, transporting the assets back to headquarters on an Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC).
