Primate Elijah Ayodele has warned politicians, INEC officials and security personnel against attempting to rig the 2027 general election.
The cleric, who spoke on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at his church headquarters in Lagos, warned that anyone who takes steps to manipulate the election would face what he described as divine consequences.
“If you’re a politician, INEC official, NYSC member or security operative, and you ever take a step to rig the 2027 election, your generation after generation will be c✓rsed. The next year’s election needs to remodify Nigeria. It is going to change a lot of things because Nigerians are tired of failure,” Ayodele said.
He also warned against interference in the electoral process, stressing the need for the 2027 election to be conducted properly.
Ayodele had previously warned about alleged underground plans to rig the 2027 elections and said there could be intense political manoeuvring ahead of the polls.
