Nigerian singer Mavo has responded to critics who have been revisiting and dissecting some of his old posts on social media.
The singer, who appears to have grown frustrated with the attention surrounding his past thoughts and opinions, urged those digging into his old tweets to focus on their own lives instead.
Mavo highlighted some of his achievements at a young age, pointing out that he already owns a record label and a storefront at 22.
He made the statement while addressing those who continue to bring up his old tweets and analyse his past views.
In his words:
“I have a record label and a storefront at 22, please get your life together and stop dissecting my past thoughts”
The singer’s response has since drawn attention online, with his statement reflecting his desire for critics to focus more on his present achievements than on opinions he expressed in the past.
