Nigerian singer Ms Jorji has taken a swipe at Peter Okoye of the defunct music duo P-Square, accusing him of being dishonest and questioning the authenticity of his public statements.
Ms Jorji made the remarks while reflecting on her experience with Peter’s twin brother, Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, whom she said had shown her support early in her career.
According to her, she met Rudeboy in London and described him as one of the people in the Nigerian music industry who welcomed and supported her.
She said, “I always knew Peter Okoye of P-Square was a liar. I met Rudeboy in London, and he’s one of the people in the industry who accepted me and showed me support. But people want to believe the person who sells the most BS. All his videos are so performative.“
Her comments have sparked reactions online, particularly amid renewed public discussions surrounding Peter and Rudeboy and their history as members of P-Square.
