A Nigerian man reportedly spent 9 months in prison after being wrongfully accused by a pregnant woman.
The heartbreaking incident was shared by @official_QV, a user on the microblogging platform, X (formerly Twitter).
Man Reportedly Imprisoned
According to @official_QV, who claims to be a neighbour to the man, the pregnant lady made a U-turn about her claim during labour while holding the nurse’s hand.
During his wrongful imprisonment, his mother aged and upon regaining freedom, he quietly returned to the home.
”The boy who used to greet everybody, Help neighbors carry things, Laugh loudly at nothing.What came back was harder. Colder. No empathy for anyone’s problems. No patience for people’s pain”, She added.
Although the man was cleared of the accusation, the experience changed him irreversibly.
