Nigerian influencer and actress Papaya Ex has broken down in tears after alleging that her YouTube manager deleted her movie, The Spotlight, from the platform.
The movie had reportedly garnered 2.7 million views and 10,000 comments before it was allegedly deleted, according to Papaya Ex.
In an emotional video circulating online, the social media personality lamented the loss of the project and revealed the extent of the effort she put into making it.
She said: “All my hard work is gøne. This guy has ruined me. My YouTube manager deleted my Spotlight movie with 2.7 million views and 10k comments. I fasted for 30 days for this project.”
Her claim has since sparked reactions online, with some people questioning whether the deletion was accidental or deliberate and others urging her to provide more details about what happened.
One commenter asked whether the movie was deleted by mistake or intentionally, while another wondered why the manager would take such an action.
Some social media users also offered to support Papaya Ex if she decides to upload the project again.
