I won’t use nuclear weapon against Iran – Trump assures

United States President, Donald Trump, has promised not to use a nuclear weapon in the conflict with Iran.

Trump spoke at a press briefing at the White House.

Asked if he would consider using nuclear weapons against Iran, Trump said: “Why would I ever use a nuclear weapon? We’ve completely, in a very traditional way, destroyed them without it.

“No, I wouldn’t use it. A nuclear weapon should never be used by anyone.”

When asked how long he would wait for a long-term peace deal with Iran, Trump said, “Don’t rush me.”

He mentioned that Iran might have prepared their weapons “a little bit” during the two-week ceasefire.

“Their navy is gone. Their air force is gone, their anti-aircraft is gone… maybe they loaded up a little during the two-week break, but we’ll take care of that in about a day if they did.

“I want to make the best deal. I could make a deal right now but I don’t want to do that. This method has a lasting function,” Trump said.
