“My Dad’s Funeral Was Hell On Earth”- Junior Ubiribo Slams Cubana Chief Priest

Junior Ubiribo, son of late British-Nigerian influencer Tiny Igho Ubiribo, has called out celebrity barman Cubana Chief Priest over his behaviour at his father’s funeral.

Junior expressed his displeasure in a video circulating online, where he described the burial ceremony as a deeply painful experience, which he referred to as “hell on earth.”

He particularly criticised Cubana Chief Priest for making a comment about relaxing at the cemetery while standing beside his father’s grave and showing off his expensive Richard Mille wristwatch.

Recounting the incident, Junior said:

“My dad’s funeral was hell on earth, not just because there was a fat weirdo at my dad’s grave that was like, ‘Cemetery chilling, yeah,’ showing off his Richard Mille.

“Every time I see that video, it puts me in shock because of the lack of empathy. I wrote my dad’s eulogy about three or four times because it was difficult for me. I didn’t recognise anyone at the funeral. Nothing about that represented my dad, not the music, not the casket.”

Beyond his criticism of Cubana Chief Priest, Junior also faulted the involvement of Pastor Tobi and members of Spac Nation, accusing them of attending the funeral for publicity rather than genuinely honouring his late father.

He further disclosed that he was left out of the funeral arrangements following a disagreement with his father’s wife.

According to him, she offered to purchase a house for him and focus on his needs alone, but he turned down the proposal because he wanted his siblings to be considered as well.

Junior’s revelations have generated reactions on social media, with particular attention on his allegations about the funeral arrangements and his criticism of those who attended.

He also disclosed his intention to organise another funeral for his late father, suggesting that he wants to give him the kind of farewell he believes he deserved.
