Military representatives at the Nigerian Bar Association conference have cautioned social media activist VeryDarkMan against making sweeping allegations about the military without evidence.
Responding to his earlier comments, one of the representatives drew a comparison between his claims against the military and a hypothetical allegation that all lawyers are corrupt.
“If VeryDarkMan can sit down here to say all Military are corrupt, it’s as good as saying all lawyers are corrupt too. He can not sit down here and just be making substantial claims that he can not back with evidence,” the military representative said.
The remarks have triggered mixed reactions on X, with some users supporting the military’s position and others challenging the representative to disprove VeryDarkMan’s claims with evidence.
