A Nigerian lady has raised concerns over the alleged sale of National Identification Numbers (NIN) and related personal information online.
In a post shared on social media, the lady expressed shock after claiming that NIN details were being offered for as little as ₦250 on a website.
She questioned how such sensitive personal information could allegedly be made available for purchase and called attention to the potential implications for Nigerians whose data may be exposed.
Sharing her concern, she wrote:
“Nigerians, Your NIN Is Not Safe! It’s Being Sold For Just ₦250 On This Website. How Is This Even Allowed?👀.”
The claim has sparked concerns about the safety of Nigerians’ personal data and how such sensitive information could allegedly be accessed and sold online.
