A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Umar Sani, says the Supreme Court has already settled the party’s internal crisis.
Sani made this disclosure on Thursday during an interview on ‘Morning Show’, a programme on Arise Television.
He stated that the pronouncement of the court will generate a Certified True Copy of the judgment which will be tabled before the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
According to him, INEC will have no choice but to comply with the judgment of the Supreme Court.
“Let me tell you this, the issue has already been settled. This is a matter that the highest court of the land had made a pronouncement, and that pronouncement will generate a Certified True Copy of the judgment, which will not table before INEC.
“All the five justices of the Supreme Court dismissed their cross appeal. So what we are just waiting for is for INEC to have the old certified through copy, and then we are good to go.
“The issue of bank account or no bank account are all diversionary. They are intended to create in the minds of Nigerians that there is still a problem within the PDP, when in actual fact, there is no problem at all. The problem has been permanently resolved by the apex court,” he said.
