Peter Obi will, in just four years, personally visit all 774 Local Government Areas because apparently Nigeria needs a touring president, not a governing one.
But wait, there’s more.
He will also stop by over 150,000 primary and secondary schools nationwide. One can only assume this is to exchange pleasantries with head boys and head girls, maybe drop his number, and take attendance.
Security? No problem.
Our soon-to-be “Commander-in-Chief” will take things a step further by heading into forests himself to confront bandits and terrorists. Two days per forest, please because nothing says national security strategy like a presidential bush tour.
And of course, all of this will be neatly wrapped up within a strict four-year term. Not a day longer. Efficiency at its finest.
At this point, it’s fair to ask: is this a governance agenda or a travel itinerary?
Because unless the presidency has suddenly become a one-man reality show, Nigerians might prefer something far less dramatic — like actual policies, functional institutions, and a leader who understands that running a country isn’t a solo adventure.
But then again, why build systems when you can build suspense?
