More details have emerged following the emotional Instagram livestream involving former Ilebaye, who was seen crying out for help with a swollen face.
According to a viral space on X (formerly Twitter), Ilebaye allegedly returned to her father’s house after reportedly receiving disturbing information about her younger brothers not being properly cared for.
In the alleged statement shared online, it was said:
“When Ilebaye’s father and mother got separated, her dad allowed all the girls to go and refused the boys. People are going to ask why she went back. She went back because she was getting information that her brothers were not well taken care of. And it’s her birthday today, so why not?”
The source further claimed that Ilebaye’s mother had warned her not to return to the house due to concerns about an allegedly abusive environment involving her father, but the reality star reportedly insisted because of her concern for her siblings.
According to the claims, the situation between her parents has allegedly been strained for a long time, with reports suggesting a difficult family environment.
“Her mom warned her not to go back, but sibling to sibling, especially when your brother calls you to say, ‘Sister, please help me,’ you really cannot say no.
She only went there for her brothers, nothing more. She should be at a club living it up. She’s freaking 25, but she chooses to show up for her brothers,” she further stated.
The speaker concluded that Ilebaye allegedly only wanted to ensure her brothers were okay and to see them happy on her birthday.
