Global Afrobeats sensation David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has surprised fans by announcing a significant pivot towards his Masters in Political Science.
The multi-award winning artiste, who has dominated the global music charts for over a decade, shared that he will be enrolling for a Master’s degree in Political Science.
While Davido has always been vocal about socio-political issues in his home country, Nigeria, his move signals a more formal commitment to understanding the machinations of governance and international relations.
Davido, who disclosed this during a recent media interaction, explained that his decision is rooted in a desire to expand his horizons beyond the entertainment industry. Despite his hectic global touring schedule and status as one of Africa’s wealthiest musicians, the singer appears determined to secure a higher degree from a prestigious British institution.

“I’m starting my Master’s degree in Political Science at a university in the UK next year”. He said.
The DMW boss, who famously graduated from Babcock University in Nigeria with a degree in Music after a brief stint studying Business Administration in the United States, noted that his interest in politics has grown significantly over the years.
